Concept3D is a digital mapping service that brings your world to life virtually. The team partners with universities and organizations to create virtual mapping experiences.

Concept3D approached me looking to refine elements of their core product. I worked on a number of engagements with them touching multiple portions of their application. A primary project was adding a step-by-step directions feature to their wayfinding product. I worked closely with their product team to evaluate feature requirements, market research, wireframe, and ultimately high-fidelity designs ready for development.

Concept3D places a focus on accessibility due to their work with Universities. All of this work was evaluated for accessibility.

After refining feature requirements, we shifted to market research. Our focus was on accessible web-based applications.

After exploring the placement of the new feature, we shifted our focus to iterating on massing studies directly within the usable area. This supported desktop, tablet, and mobile.

The Concept3D team did not have an in-house designer at the time so I worked to create their first reusable design system for this feature. It allowed me to iterate quickly and their development team to begin building atomic components.
